Bob Black - from his series: And Our Memories Brief as Photos and Portugal Memory: Syntax and Morphology
Bob Black was born in San Diego, California and has lived a peripatetic life, having lived in Asia, Europe and North America. He now resides in Toronto, Canada. He is married to artist Marina Black and has a son, Dima, who is also a photographer, who in his spare time teaches his father about photography and cooking. Formally, Bob studied English and Philosophy in university but has since learned everything he knows about photography from listening to his family, trying to carry their voices in the blind basket of his eyes.
